The Nursing Administration Department is the department that offers theoretical and clinical lectures for the senior students to assist them in developing their management and leadership skills and behaviors. The department also offers clinical training of the required knowledge, attitude and skills needed to work in clinical areas and to behave as professional nurses with commitment to service.Students are divided into groups, and the groups are distributed to hospitals (National Medical Institute Hospital in Damanhour – Al-Sadr Hospital – Itay El-Baroud General Hospital – Kom Hamada Specialized Hospital – Shoubrakhit General Hospital – Kafr El-Dawar General Hospital – Housh Issa Central Hospital) to the nearest place to the students’ place of residence. Students visit hospitals on Wednesdays and Thursdays every week.
Further, it promote professional development through continuing nursing education and research activities as holding the annual scientific conference of nursing administration department. Additionally, it provides courses for post graduate students as (Diploma, Master and Doctorate) of nursing administration. Otherwise, the department extends its services to the community to attain, maintain or regain quality of health services for people as participation in preparing Sehety magazine.

The Vision of the Nursing Administration Department is to be the center of excellence in preparing professional nurses with leadership and managerial abilities in integrating and delivering compassionate patient care.
Mission
The mission of the Nursing Administration Department is to prepare competent nurses who are able to meet the health care needs of the society within the quality standards of nursing education by providing efficient, safe and competent nursing practice.
Objectives
The objectives of the Nursing Administration Department are to:
1. 1. Apply innovative teaching strategies merged with high technology that enhances learning outcome of the Administration students to mastery level as well as lifelong learning.
2. Participate in preparing graduate professional nurses who are knowledgeable, safe and competent in skills within appropriate ethical boundaries.
3. Support the enhancement of clinical skills in students from basic to advanced skills considering patient safety
4. Motivate students to become professional nurses who are self-motivated with attributes of critical thinking, clinical judgment and leadership abilities
5. Promote professional development through continuing nursing education and research activities as well as activation of Thinqi for fourth year students.
6. Contribute to the Faculty/University/Ministry of Health plans for continuing education related to clinical skill competency to improve the quality of nursing care through faculty development and nursing competency for safe practice.
7. Contribute actively to the development plans of the Faculty of Nursing including the managerial and administrative nursing skills to be the center of excellence nationally, regionally and internationally
8. Extend services to the community to attain, maintain or regain quality of health services for people through health assessment and follow-up surveys.
